| Bullet Resistant Door Shielding
Bullet resistant door systems include a steel frame and door assembly to provide ballistic protection at any one of five specific threat levels, from UL 752 Level I to Level III plus Level VI. Door sizes are available up to 4'0" x 8'0" for singles and 8'0" x 8'0" for pairs. Door thickness shall be 1-3/4" for UL Level I to III and Level VI. Doors are available in a variety of veneers or plastic laminate coverings to match office decor. Frames are provided in a prime paint finish for field painting. These assemblies have been successfully tested for ballistic resistance by H.P. White Testing Laboratory and use heavy duty butt hinges and cylindrical lock assemblies as the door hardware. Factory preparation of the door and frame for this type hardware is included. Bullet resistant door assemblies are commonly used in both national and local government and judicial applications and elsewhere as need dictates. |
