Lead glass shields from radiation while providing vision into the treatment area.

It is available in a variety of shielding equivalencies and must be selected to match frame and wall shielding levels and X-Ray peak voltage.

Care must be taken with lead glass to avoid scratching and breakage during installation and normal cleaning. Lead glass is NOT tempered. For safety concerns, laminated lead safety glass is available for shielding up to 1/16" lead equivalence requirements. This Saf-T-Lite Radiation Protector™ glass will not shatter as regular lead glass can.
