| Other Shielding
The following items are all lead-lined according to customer specifications.
Door hardware: Factory installation of lead in door hardware is available. In addition, A&L Shielding can supply many different brands of hardware for lead-lined products.
Door lite frames: These are available in both metal and wood. Designs must accommodate the extra glazing thickness and lead thickness required.
Astragals: Required for the active leaf of all lead-lined door pairs.
Interlocking lead bricks: Fit together to form a shielding wall. Available in any lead thickness. View Three-part Specification - Lead Brick (PDF)
Shielding barriers: Protection in viewing areas in a space-saving design. These consist of an opaque panel at the bottom and clear glazing on top. Connectors for sections and walls are included.
Lead liner kits: Available when door and window frames are supplied by others.
